This council works to make Prince William an epicenter of technology and security by engaging, enabling, and empowering our businesses.


Join us for an engaging session with Shahpar Islam, a seasoned IT leader, educator, and AWS Authorized Instructor with over 15 years of industry experience spanning network engineering, data center and cloud security, and AI/ML-powered solution architecture.

About Shahpar:

  • Shahpar Islam brings 15+ years of professional experience in IT, including Submarine Cable-powered backbone Network Engineering, Data Center Network and Security Engineering, On-premise, Hybrid, and Cloud native/agnostic solution architecture for AI/ML-powered development, and 7+ years of experience teaching as higher-ed faculty and professional trainer. 
  • Over the past 15 years, he has worked for multiple top IT organizations inside and outside of the US and taught numerous IT courses to students all over the world.
