Guest Speaker: Noah Powers, CISSP, RVA Program Lead, 

Vulnerability Evaluation, Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency

Noah Powers works for the US Government's newest agency, the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), where he is the Program Lead for the Risk and Vulnerability Assessment (RVA) service. Noah has over 15 years experience working in offensive realms of cybersecurity to include Red Teaming and Penetration Testing, and is an expert in Insider Threat Prevention, cyber exercises, developing high performing cyber teams. Prior to working for CISA, Mr. Powers was an international consultant working with companies across the Middle East as well as projects with the Japanese CERT and Carnegie Mellon University's Software Engineering Institute, and served in the US Air Force. Noah Powers earned degrees from American Military University, St. Mary's University (Texas), and Texas A&M University, and holds the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from ISC2. During this discussion, Noah Powers will speak to what CISA is doing to Reduce Risk through the Risk and Vulnerability Assessment service, and how organizations can look for some of the easy cyber security wins to further protect from cyber threats.
