DESCRIPTION:Our Education & Workforce Council works to connect education and industry to build a strong workforce for today and tomorrow. Kick off our season with Northern Virginia Community College as they share about Spark the Journey. \nFor more than 30 years\, Spark the Journey has opened pathways to upward mobility by pairing students with volunteer mentors and connecting them to a broader network of support. Each year\, Spark serves more than 400 young people across the DC metropolitan region through one-to-one mentorship\, equipping them with the skills\, relationships\, and guidance needed to succeed in education and career pathways.
