About Andrew: 

Andrew “Drew” Kochy is the Senior Director of Digital Forensics at Direct Protect Security (DPS), where he leads a specialized team in the collection, processing, and examination of digital evidence while driving client engagement. A results-oriented leader with more than a decade of supervisory experience in high-level operational environments, Drew excels at operations management, risk mitigation, and technological implementation. Prior to his current role, he served a distinguished 23-year career with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), holding critical leadership positions including Special Agent Digital Forensic Examiner, Supervisory Special Agent, and Unit Chief. During his tenure at the Bureau, he managed multi-million-dollar budgets, directed secure global communications for crisis responses, and oversaw large teams tackling major cyber crimes and technical surveillance operations. Drew holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Lehigh University and maintains advanced credentials, including the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and GIAC Certified Forensic Examiner (GCFE) certifications. Outside of his professional cyber and forensic work, he is an avid woodworking hobbyist. His exceptional contributions to the security field have been recognized with the Attorney General's Distinguished Service Award and the Director's Award for Outstanding Counterintelligence Investigation.
