Donnell E. Johns Sr. is a visionary leader, accomplished entrepreneur, and dedicated advocate for the military connected community. A retired U.S. Army Command Sergeant Major, Donnell honorably served his country for over 25 years, developing expertise in leadership, mission execution, and team-building at the highest levels.
As the Founder and CEO of Veterans Growing America (VGA), Donnell channels his extensive military experience into empowering veteran entrepreneurs and military-connected business owners. VGA provides platforms for business growth and visibility through its Veteran Marketplace, educational programs, and community-centered events.
In addition to leading VGA, Donnell serves as the Prince William County Neabsco District Veterans Commissioner, where he advocates for the needs and interests of veterans within his community.
Brentsville District Supervisor
The Honorable Tom Gordy
Supervisor Tom Gordy was elected on November 7, 2023 to represent the Brentsville Magisterial District on the Prince William County Board Supervisors. Prior to his election, Tom served on the Prince William County Planning Commission representing the Brentsville District. He was also a charter member of the Prince William County Veterans Commission representing the Brentsville District and served as its first chairman.
Supervisor Gordy is the President of the Armed Forces Marketing Council where he supports, strengthens, and enhances quality of life benefits for military families by engaging with congressional, Department of Defense and military resale leaders to address issues of concern to the members of the Council.
