Military, Veterans, Public Safety (MVPS) Council Meeting

This council supports military, veterans, and public safety personnel through advocacy, resources, and community integration.

This month, we are honored to welcome Mayor Michelle Davis-Younger and Angela McConnell, Ph.D., Founder & President/CEO of the Northern Virginia Veterans Association as our featured speakers.
During this session, they will introduce and discuss the upcoming inaugural Veterans Resilience & Resource Event taking place on May 16 in Manassas. This important initiative is focused on strengthening support for veterans and their families by connecting them to critical resources, services, and community partnerships.
This meeting will provide:
  • Insight into the vision and goals of the May 16 event
  • Opportunities for local businesses and organizations to get involved
  • A deeper understanding of how we, as a community, can better support our veteran population
