Sponsored by City of Manassas and a Bee City USA Manassas event.
Historic Liberia House will be open for free tours and is celebrating a 200-year birthday this year!

Join thousands of visitors and buzz on by for family fun and learn about honeybees, native pollinators, and planting native plants at this FREE annual event!

Thank you to the City of Manassas, Historic Manassas Inc., Liberia House and Grounds, and Sponsors, Supporters, Partners and Friends for their support! Manassas City is the first City in Northern Virginia to "bee" a nationally designated Bee City USA (since 2021)!

Friends of the Manassas Bee Festival is a nonprofit board of local gardeners, beekeepers, small business owners, and wellness experts focusing on awareness to plant native and save our pollinators. We have worked all year on public art, and education to students, volunteer groups, and community outreach to share our message. The wall mural at Kerbobble Toys is an example of the public are in process that we worked with HMI and the owners of the building and business to create. This year we donated honey to local brewers and one brew: the "Bee City Lager," was launched at Sinsitral Brewing Company and will be at the festival.  We are also having a pre-festival celebration for the June Pollinator Month with a free movie showing under the stars: "The Bee Movie on Main." The classic "Bee Movie," will be playing on the closure of Main St. in Downtown Historic Manassas on Saturday, June 7 at 8pm. Come early and dress like a pollinator to visit shops and restaurants too!
