Adult Writing Contest: Prince William Public Libraries

Description

For Adults. November 1–30 Submit poetry or short stories for the chance to win prizes. There will be prizes in each category. Competition Rules: The deadline for entries is Thursday, November 30. Entries will be judged on creativity, originality, technique, and emotional impact. Written works may be submitted using a form on pwcva.gov/library. Competitors may submit one entry per category. Short stories may be no longer than 2,500 words, and poetry may be no longer than a page. Entries must be previously unpublished works. Participants must be 18 or older and residents of Prince William County or the City of Manassas. Prizes will be awarded at a ceremony to be announced at a later date.
