Girl Scout Coding Day (Juniors)

Description

Join Pink Space Theory for Girl Scout Coding Day, a three-hour, hands-on workshop designed for Junior Girl Scouts. Participants will complete all three Coding for Good badges in one exciting session: Coding Basics, Digital Game Design, and App Development.

Scouts will learn how technology can solve real-world problems, design and build a simple game, and discover women who have shaped computer science. No previous coding experience is required, just curiosity and a willingness to create.

Date: October 17, 2026
Time: 9:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m.
Location: DeSanto Community Hall, Dale City, Virginia
Cost: $40 per Scout

All materials and snacks are included. Scouts may register with their troop or individually and will leave with three badges, a portfolio of projects, and greater confidence in their coding abilities.
