NVFS Back to School Drive

Description

The NVFS Back2School Drive can help local kids start the school year strong. Rising costs of living have made it even more difficult for families to provide school supplies for their children – you can ease the burden by providing school supplies needed for kids in our community to thrive! Whether you donate, volunteer, or host a supply drive, every play will help students feel confident and ready to learn. Make your game plan with us today! 

We have a few different ways for engagement with the Back2School Drive:

1.Hosting an in-office collection: I am happy to send a flyer that includes the school supply list and guidelines for doing a collection. You’d have the freedom to format your in-office collection drive however you’d like, and we’d be able to accept those donations in-person on July 23 (12pm-6pm) and July 24 (9am-4pm). The location will be made available on our website in July. 

2.Convenient virtual and remote opportunities: 

• Amazon List will be available on our website starting the 2nd week of July. 
• Create your own online team fundraising page at https://p2p.onecause.com/nvfsback2school/home. You can track engagement, and employees can make online donations on your office’s own page and even share the fundraising page to their networks for additional support. We pack the backpacks based off specific supply lists for each school grade and all supplies that we do not receive through our donation days is purchased out of pocket from our agency to provide fully packed backpacks. Financial contributions are greatly appreciated and enable us to ensure that each family's requests are fulfilled.
