Description

Hylton Center audiences are in for a unique musical evening when the Manassas Symphony Orchestra (MSO) presents the internationally acclaimed Raleigh Ringers. The Raleigh Ringers, known for their entertaining interpretations of sacred, secular, and rock ‘n’ roll tunes, will play selections from classic hymns, Stravinsky’s Firebird, and an American Rock Tribute with music from the Doors and Journey. The Manassas Symphony Orchestra will join the Raleigh Ringers to perform a brand-new, original piece for handbells and string quintet entitled Lux Aeterna, written by William A. Payn and Matthew Compton. Dave Harris, Raleigh Ringers founder and music director commented: “We are extremely excited to be returning to the Hylton Center for our performance on August 27th! Of personal note, it will be great to reunite with James Villani, as he and I studied music together many years ago at Penn State University.” This exclusive Northern Virginia performance is Saturday evening, August 27, 2022, at 7:00 PM. Tickets are available now at the Hylton Center box office or online at https://mso.me/rrtix22.
