The demand for mental health services and support has grown significantly in the last number of years, particularly in the wake of the COVID pandemic. Youth For Tomorrow Behavioral Health Services has designed and expanded services to meet the needs of individuals and families with a wide variety of issues.  Through expanded locations and telehealth services, the scope and access to mental health resources have increased in the greater Prince William region.

Carl received a BA in Psychology from George Mason University and an MA in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. He is credentialed in the state of Virginia as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), a Licensed Substance Abuse Treatment Practitioner (LSATP) and certified as a Master Addiction Counselor (MAC).

At age 21, Carl began his career in Behavorial Health Services at Youth For Tomorrow. From 1989 to 2005 he served in various capacities including Director of Residential Services, Residential Shift Supervisor, Substance Abuse Counselor and Assistant Director of Residential Services. Carl then served on the PWC Community Services office as a Mental Health/Substance Abuse Therapist with Drug Offender Recovery Services for ten years. He then returned to YFT and became the Director of Behavioral Health Services in 2015. In 2020, he was promoted to VP for Behavioral Health Services. Carl oversees YFT's seven regional Behavioral Health Offices located in 4 counties: Prince William, Fairfax, Fauquier and Loudoun Counties.
