The Prince William Chamber of Commerce alongside its Councils and Committees are excited to present the inaugural Kickin' It with the Community!
Join us for two community-focused events designed to connect individuals and families with valuable local resources and support services. This event includes our Dads and Lads Kickball Tournament and our Education and Workforce Resource Fair!
Dads & Lads (ages: 12+) Kickball Tournament
June is Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month. To celebrate, we collaborated with the Dept's of Community Services, Social Services and Parks & Recreation to develop a 4-team Kickball Tournament held at Pfitzner Stadium from 10-2pm. Community Services will provide resources committed to improving the well-being of our residents, while recruiting individuals for Social Services "Fatherhood Initiative", which is dedicated to equipping fathers with the resources and support they need to nurture healthy relationships with their children. These two partners, along with our Health & Wellness Council, helped formulate the idea to establish our Men's Wellness Committee beginning in August.

Education & Workforce Veterans/Re-Entry Resource Fair
Presented by:
Workforce is a primary pillar within the Chamber Foundation's infrastructure. This pillar reaches across ALL of the Chamber's Councils & Committees. Our Data Centers, IT & Security Council, along with our Military, Veteran, & Public Safety Council, decided to take the lead. The County's Development Services Building will host this vendor fair highlighting our learning institutions’ education & workforce programs, as well as resources for residents who are: New-to-workforce, transition/displaced workers, veterans & re-entry.
Other Councils and Committees attending: Education & Workforce Committee, Senior Services Committee, Government Contracting Council, Not-For-Profit Council, International Business Council, Women's Leadership Council, Young B.O.L.D. Professionals Council
