Bouncing Back: Post-COVID Strategies for Reengagement

This session will focus on proven tactics for reengaging board members and donors following the attrition sparked by COVID. We will discuss the value of interpersonal connections, setting aggressive goals, and implementing new strategies for amplifying your organization's voice.

Martina Jackson Green is a career communicator with 25 years of experience in internal comm, marketing and public relations. 20 years ago, she began using those skills to help nonprofit organizations effectively tell their stories, expand their audiences, and reach their goals for engagement and fundraising. She has supported development efforts, events and strategic communications for a variety of organizations including The American Cancer Society, Girl Scout Troops, and churches.

Martina currently serves as Executive Director for the Manassas City Public Schools Education Foundation were she actively works with community partners to bring local resources into the schools. She is also a Communication professor at Northern Virginia Community College.

She is a graduate of Western Illinois University where she earned a bachelor’s in Human Communication and a master’s degree in Organizational Communication. Martina also earned an accreditation in public relations from the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA).
