Captain Harold Gitau: Prince William County Corps

Topic: The Impact of Nonprofit Organizations

Captain Harold Gitau is originally from Kenya and relocated to the US in 2008, having grown up within the Salvation Army church. Harold pursued his education at Kennesaw State University, where he obtained a BBA in Marketing, and later had the opportunity to study at Washington State University for a Master of Business Administration – International Business. His journey with TSA began in 2013, alongside his wife, Captain Eunice Gitau and they have been blessed to serve the PWC community as Pastors and Administrators with The Salvation Army since 2022 serving full-time ever since. 

Traveling has been a significant part of their lives, having explored 28 states and 12 countries so far. Their service has taken them to various locations, including Marietta, GA; Frankfort, KY; Memphis, TN; Harrisonburg, VA; and presently, Prince William, VA. In his leisure time, Harold enjoys activities such as swimming, golf, and table tennis. He also plays the guitar, drums and Cornet. He and Eunice are proud parents to three wonderful children.
