About Our Speaker

Jeremy McPike grew up in Prince William County, Va., he attended Gar-Field High School, and then worked as a construction laborer and eventually as a construction superintendent to pay for school expenses at George Mason University. He holds both a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s of Public Administration.

Jeremy has served for 23 years as a volunteer firefighter and EMT with the Dale City Volunteer Fire Department (DCVFD), as an Assistant Chief and has been honored with Life Membership.

As a member of the Senate, Jeremy serves on five legislative oversight committees – Finance and Appropriations, Commerce and Labor, General Laws and Technology, Rules, and is the chair of Local Government.

Jeremy and his wife Sharon live in Dale City with their children.
