About Our Speaker
Neabsco District Supervisor Victor S. Angry and Michelle Angry have been married for more than 29 years and moved to Dale City in 2003 where they raised two children, Dominique and Alexxyus. His children attended Martin Luther King, Jr. Elementary School, Stuart M. Beville Middle School and graduated from C.D. Hylton High School. His wife is a four-year Army Veteran and currently teaches in Prince William County as an Instructional Assistant.
Supervisor Angry was born in Altamonte Springs, Florida, and after graduating from Lyman High School in June 1986, he enlisted into the United States Army. It was in the Army where Supervisor Angry developed a love for leadership, fitness and the commitment to lead and serve others.
Supervisor Angry served in the United States Army for more than 23 years and retired as a Command Sergeant Major with the distinction of serving as the Command Sergeant Major of the entire Army National Guard where he was responsible for the health and welfare of over 368,000 Guardsman and their families. He was the first African American to be assigned as the Command Sergeant Major, serving on an interim basis to lead the Enlisted Force during a challenging and changing time in leadership. During his military career, he led at every position from Squad Leader, Platoon Sergeant, First Sergeant and finally to Command Sergeant Major. He achieved numerous military awards and received two Legions of Merit.
After his retirement from the Army, Supervisor Angry continued his service to others by joining the Dale City Volunteer Fire Department and has been an active member since 2011. In 2012, he became the Department Public Education Coordinator working with the Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and other youth in Prince William County. He was elected to the Dale City Volunteer Fire Department Board of Directors and is serving his second four-year term.
Supervisor Angry is an unwavering advocate and supporter of all who are working towards improving themselves. Through his company, A is for Angry LLC, he focuses on motivating and inspiring others and developing leaders.
Supervisor Angry was sworn into office on April 11, 2019 as the new Neabsco District Supervisor on the Prince William Board of County Supervisors finishing out the remaining term of the previous Supervisor. Supervisor Angry won his re-election in November 2019 to serve a four-year term starting January 1 2020. He was the first African American to be elected to the Prince William Board of County Supervisors and served as Vice Chair from January 2020 through December 2020.
