We’re on a mission to help kids win at life through engaging weekly classes, community, and meaningful experiences — and we’re looking for a talented Assistant General Manager to join our Woodbridge leadership team!
About the Role
As the Assistant General Manager, you’ll be a key leader at KidStrong Woodbridge, working closely with the General Manager to support operations, sales, team development, and excellent family experiences. You’ll help drive the success of the center and build a positive, high-energy culture for coaches, kids, and families alike.
Key Responsibilities
Center Operations
Support the General Manager with daily operations, scheduling, and performance goals.
Maintain a clean, safe, and engaging environment that reflects brand standards.
Assist with center maintenance, inventory, and facility appearance.
Handle lead follow-up and communication with prospective families.
Help coordinate and drive events like camps, parties, and community engagements.
Sales & Community Engagement
Support lead generation and membership conversion.
Build strong relationships with families through exceptional customer service.
Participate in community outreach to grow brand awareness.
Leadership & Culture
Foster a positive coaching culture — lead by example.
Assist with recruiting, training, and evaluating coaches.
Support staff development and professional growth.
Coaching
Deliver KidStrong’s science-based curriculum during classes for kids aged ~15 months to 11 years.
Demonstrate high energy, leadership, and commitment to student safety.
Qualifications:
A strong passion for working with children and helping families.
Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
Comfortable communicating with parents/guardians.
Experience in sales, customer service, fitness, coaching, or child-focused environments a plus.
Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
Physical ability to participate in and lead active classes.
