Athena Behavioral Treatment Center has been recognized by the Behavioral Health Center of Excellence (BHCOE) as a behavioral service provider dedicated to continuous improvement in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)! We are seeking a BCBA to join our team of caring professionals, working in a tiered model overseeing a BCaBA and 4 behavior technicians. You will not need to worry about scheduling, billing, paperwork etc. We let you do, what you do best – create and oversee behavior analytic programming, teach skills and reduce problem behavior.

Job Duties

  • Provide supervision to BCaBA and behavior technicians working with clients.
  • Implement 1:1 behavioral intervention programs to children
  • Participate in training activities as needed that provides instruction on Applied Behavior Analysis, discrete trail teaching techniques, management of challenging behaviors, child development and data collection techniques applicable to the client population. In addition to recording and reporting on the behavior of individual children as assigned
  • Assist with training and competency checklists for new and existing behavior technicians
  • Receive supervision from the ABA Director for each client they work with on a monthly basis.
  • Communicate with supervisory staff
  • Prepare and conduct team meetings
  • Monthly graphing and progress reports
  • Introduce and train new client programs under guidance of ABA Director
  • Manage and update client’s program book
  • Conduct VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, ALFS, or other curriculum assessments adopted by ABTC
  • Develop functional behavior assessment and behavior intervention plan under the supervision and guidance of the ABA Director
  • Assist with daily changes and updates to schedule as children and/or staff are out due to illness, vacation, etc.
  • Prepare social skills, circle time, gross motor, natural environment teaching, etc.
  • Delegate stimuli prep to behavior technicians as time allows

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to ABTC policies and procedures
  • Represent ABTC professionally and ethically to internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate and timely records.
  • Report to BCBA on client progress and implement feedback to RBTs and parents during each therapy supervision.

Pay

  • Negotiable - based on experience

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
